Porovnání obtížnosti porodů u různých plemen skotu ve vybraném chovu
Kozlová, Eliška
This bachelor thesis examines the issue of difficult calving depending on breed affiliation and utility type. This work summarizes three basic breeds of different utility types that are bred in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work deals with the description of estrous cycle, methods of insemination, the period of gestation and the subsequent parturition. During parturition, emphasis is mainly placed on its progress. Therefore, the work also deals with internal and external factors. These factors aren’t always controllable, but some of them can be influenced by keeper or directly by breeding. Early detection of dead fetus is also important for calving. Whether the calving is assisted and whether any assistance is performed in an appropriate way has a relatively large influence on the course of calving itself. Depending on the extend to which assistance was required, the overall course of the birth is also evaluated. In this work was evaluated the calving process in Czech Fleckvieh and Charolais breeding. Both breeds were kept in the company ZEAS Lysice a.s., which is located in the South Moravian region. The results of the calving process were compared according to breed, year of calving and whether they were first-calf or older cows. The analysis of the data showed a significantly high incidence of the desired calving process in the Charolais breed, up to 99,28 %. Czech Fleckvieh showed a higher incidence of unwanted calving, which was 1,72 %. It also has been proven that older cows calving process was better than heifers. In the analysis of the year of calving, its influence on the course of calving wasn’t proven.

In this bachelor's thesis a level of Czech and world rhythmic gymnastics was compared using video-based observation method of free routines performed by selected rhythmic gymnasts in senior category, specifically free routines with ball and clubs. Title: The level of Czech rhythmic gymnastics during the 2022-2024 Olympic cycle Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to assess and compare the established difficulty of free routines based on internationally valid FIG rules for selected gymnasts. Methods: The observed file consists of 3 rhythmic gymnasts. Each of them was analysed for free routines with ball and clubs. Thus, a total of six routines were assessed with the help of experts and then compared with each other. Results: The results of selected free routines analysis are summarized in simple charts. The analysis of the routines was firstly performed individually for each gymnast and then the results were compared with each other. The findings relate primarily to the content and overall difficulty of the routine. The observed difference in the level between the world's best gymnast and the Czech representative provides an incentive to reflect on the top-level preparation of Czech rhythmic gymnasts. TITLE: The competitive performance analysis of Fitness Step Adults category in the finals of the World Championsips 2013 and 2019 AUTHOR: Tereza Kampová DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Jana Hájková ABSTRACT: The topic of this thesis is the analysis of competition sets in the Fitness Step Adults category in the 2013 and 2019 World Championships' finals. The main aim of this work is to analyze and compare the choreographies from these two years in terms of the development of difficulty, intensity and variability of the competition sets and to evaluate how the choreographies have changed after the rules had been altered. Individual choreographies from the year 2013 and 2019 are firstly evaluated in accordance with the rules and requirements of FISAF International and then compared with each other. Moreover, the comparison is subsequently supplemented by an interview with a coach and, at the same time, a participant in both World Championships in the role of a competitor. The conducted research revealed that the choreographies had changed its character since 2013. The choreographies of 2019 use different elements that help elevate the intensity of the set. Elements such as formation changes and exchanges between team members have reached a higher difficulty. In contrast with...
One Man Worth Ten Thousand: The Efficiency of the CLIL Approach in a Monolingual Class
Švorc, Ondřej ; Hofmannová, Marie (advisor) ; Havlůjová, Hana (referee)
The thesis deals with the issue of non-native language instruction of content subjects in a Czech secondary education environment. This topic is viewed upon through the prism of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The theoretical part discusses the learners' competences as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, Krashen's Monitor Model theory, Interactive Hypothesis, Constructivism and Participatory Learning Theory and finally Vygotsky's theoretical concepts. The question is raised whether or not such an approach is feasible to be used in ordinary educational settings; which is addressed in the analytical part, which examines a CLIL project that was run. While discussing World War One, it combined the instruction of English and History. Consequently, the evaluation part of this thesis argues that CLIL is feasible, as it promotes the learners' competences and the whole set of their intelligences.

Use of the craniosacral therapy on cervical spine
DOLEŽAL, Karel
As a topic of my bachelor thesis, I chose the use of craniosacral cervical spine therapy. I chose the theme for this reason because I am interested in it and it is a topic which is relatively unknown among students of physiotherapy. Cervical spine problems can be caused from many reasons. Like a poor head position during sitting on a computer, in a car or in a bad sitting, resulting in overloading the muscles and cervical spine. Another difficulty is the upper cross syndrome, which is caused by muscle dysbalance in this area. It is an imbalance between the side and front muscles of the neck or the imbalance between the shoulder and the mammary muscles. A major problem of many people is that they have headin a wrong position during sleep and their head isn t in the extensio of the spine. The muscles in this position try to keep the head in a physiological position with the help of the muscular tension, and after falling asleep the muscle tension release and the head drops. Frequent overloading can cause trigger points. Further, between the problems of the cervical spine belong also the spasm of suboccipital muscles, which causes headaches and dizziness. To prevent or eliminate these problems, it is possible to use craniosacral therapy that leads to total body regeneration and relaxation. This is a gentle manual therapy. In the theoretical part I deal with the craniosacral method, a description of its history, a craniosacral concept and a craniosacral system, where I describe, among others, the craniosacral rhythm and the movement of the cranial bones. In the next part I describe parts of the craniosacral system, including cerebrospinal fluid, cerebrospinal diapers, connective tissue and soft tissues and fascia. In the next chapter I deal with palpation, which is the basis of this and other manipulation techniques. In the last chapter of the theoretical part of my thesis I deal with the cervical spine, where I briefly describe its structure and function and then i focus on the description of the frequent problems in the cervical spine that we can encounter in practice. In the practical part of my work I performed an in-and-out kineziological analysis, and during the therapy I used the methodology of questioning, observation and examination of palpation. Input and output data were compared at the end of the study. The research itself was conducted for 6 weeks after the initial kinesiological analysis was performed in total 5 therapies and the last sixth week was performed an output kinesiological analysis. The research group consisted of 5 patients aged 22-74 years. I did a therapy that consisted of a set of touches. Among the individual therapies, patients should have done a set of stretching exercises I have entered. I observe the patients during my therapies, and I performed a control palpation of the in patients before their third therapy. The obtained results show that the craniosacral method has an analgesic and relaxing effect on the cervical spine and can be used either as a separate therapy or in combination with other methods within physiotherapy. This work could serve as an educational resource for healthcare professionals and also for the general public, especially for people who are interested in alternative treatment methods.
